  • Group History

    Serving the world through quality

    The creation of Gani & Tayub (Pvt.) Limited takes us back to the year 1947, when the families of late Haji Gani Diwan and Tayub Usman Bilwani migrated to Pakistan from Bantwa, India.

    In India, they operated their business as general commodity merchants in the cities of Bombay, Cochin, Hindupur, Madras and Bagalkot.

    After the partition of India, on arrival in Pakistan, these two families declared their marger and formed two main trading firms by the name of R. H. Gani and Habib Cloth House.

    Later in 1955, after an era of mutual collaboration the decided to incorporate Gani & Tayub as a private limited company.

    Gani & Tayub (Pvt.) Ltd. became one fo Pakistan’s leading importers of synthetic yarn, fabrics, chemicals, dyes, cement, textiles, PVC resin, plastic molding compounds and sugar.

    Gani & Tayub (G&T) diversified into various fields and a number of companies were established in the manufacturing sector.

    More than five decades of operational excellence, experience ad expertise have all formed a combined strength to empower the group as the pioneer in synthetic textiles in Pakistan. Over 6,500 employees represent a skilled , trained and professionally dedicated work force in all its group companies.

    The group realizes the importance of customer relationship and strives to deliver products employing sophisticated technological facilities. The group continuously works for evolving innovative business strategies with an eye on expansion.

    “Trust & Reliability” is the core theme in all the group companies. In its more than 50 year history, not a single company of the group has ever delayed its loan or credit installment payment, even by just one day.

  • Company History

    Mustaqim was established in 1994. Company started it’s operation from commission printing and after having the edge in printing skills, started export in 1997. Being ver well aware of the general requirements of the export business, we have been successfully working with our honorable customers.

  • Sister Concern Companies

    • (1947) The families of late Haji Gani Diwan and Tayub Usman Bilwani declare their merger and form two main trading firms by the name of R.H. Gani and Habib Cloth House.

    • (1955) Gani & Tayub (Pvt.) Ltd. is established. The company starts importing yarn, fabrics, chemicals, dyes, cement and sugar. At a later stage, it also starts importing plastic molding compounds, polyester and other synthetic yarn.

    • (1967) Mushtaq & Co. (Pvt.) Ltd., comes into being. It commences operations with jacquard Raschel knitting, and flat bet printing and finishing. At present, Mushtaq & Co. is the largest WARP knitting unit in Pakistan.

    • (1974) Muskalin Industries starts operation. Muskalin is engaged in making flat and circular knitted fabrics.

    • (1976) Bonanza Garments Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. Is established. The company starts production of prime quality ready-made garments and the name “Bonanza” soon becomes a household name in Pakistan.

    • (1984) Gatron (Industries) Ltd., commences production. It emerges to become the country’s top-most manufacturer of polyester filament yarn & polyester chips. In the 1998, Gatron becomes the only manufacturer of bottle grade PET resin in Pakistan.

    • (1986) Garments Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., starts commercial operations. The company starts exports to Europe and North America.

    • (1987) Mushtex Weavers is established. It starts manufacturing woven fabrics with more than 50 fully automatic shuttle-less looms.

    • (1991) Mustaqim Dyeing & Printing Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., is established. The company possesses state-of-the art technology to print and dye over 24,000,000 meters per annum of Poly/Cot, cotton woven and knitted fabrics.

    • (1993) Muskanit Industries starts commercial production. It is the sister concern of Mushtaq & Company for WARP Knit products.

    • (1994) Novatex Ltd., is established. Contract for a 63,000 tons per annum polycondensation plant with Zimmer A.G is signed. Novatex starts commercial production of Polyester Chips Textile Grade n the second half of 1997.

    • (1999) Krystalite Products (Pvt.) Ltd. starts production of PET bottles on latest technology SIDEL blowing machines.
